Penny passed away on March 11th.
She had a wonderful 13-1/2 years.
I’m finally getting the editing help I need to learn how to post and edit.
Writing an entry, “The Story of Penny.” It starts with her euthanizing from a condition that couldn’t be treated.
What is most important is:
“When Dr. Chon went out of the exam room to get the euthanizing meds, I was sitting in a chair in the exam room. Penny came over, stepped up on my knees, asnd gave me a kiss on my face.
Penny had never kissed me before. She wasn’t that kind of lapdog. That was Penny’s first and last kiss. It totally changed, electrified, my understanding of Life and the Universe changed in that moment.
Penny communicated something deliberately and directly to me. I don’t know if it was, “I love you.” or, “Thank you.” or “Good bye.” But, Penny had clearly communicated some thing to me.
I am humbled.”
